How we met: Ruby and I met back in April 2007 on a military wife forum (I'll spare you the name.) we talked every day thru direct messages. We would call each other because at the time I lived in Michigan and she was in California. We literally messaged each other 100 times a day (ok maybe not that many) but close. When Skype came along we video chatted every day or every other. I met Ruby before she had her two precious babies. I watched them grow and learn. Well not really physically but you know. We met in person for the first time in 2010. She came down to Virginia and it was like we knew each other forever. We met again for the second time in 2011 when I drove up to new jersey with the hubby. Again in October 2011 and so on we have been friends. We argue and laugh like sisters. Ruby is apart of my family now and I like to believe I am apart of hers and if not I'll punch her!
The story behind Two Peas: It's no surprise I watch cartoons. While preparing for a conference in 2011 I was watching Gumball and heard something along these lines "look can you guess what I am? I'm a pea on a fork" Clearly better understood if I showed you a still of the clip.
Throughout the whole conference Jenda and I were asking people if they could guess what were going to be for Halloween... no one really thought it was funny.. well ... expect this guy! He was so cool he even decided to be our 3rd pea on a fork!
Jenda and I thought it was hilarious! When we decided to start this blog and brainstormed on name ideas it was no surprise 2 peas on a fork was perfect!
